Red Breasted Merganser - Bridlington Harbour

Today is market day in Bridlington and we have a stall selling greetings cards, calendars and other associated items. Normally, Heather runs the stall and I return to Bempton but today, the weather forecast was for very strong winds and showers, so for safety, we left the van on to protect the stall. This meant that several walks around the harbour was required to provide Symphony with comfort breaks. On one of these walks, a very obliging Red Breasted Merganser showed rather well!

Other birds included: Cormorant; Herring Gull; Great Black Backed Gull; Black Headed Gull; Mallard; Turnstone; Dunlin; Redshank.
