RSPB Bempton Cliffs - 3rd July 2016

Life on the Ledges

For the first time ever, I was able to volunteer on the cliffs in shorts and t-shirt! This gave our visitors a dilemma - deciding their favourite, my photogenic legs or the Puffins! Tough, I know! It was an excellent day with many visitors enjoying the birds and seeing everything they had come to see. On the sea, however, a few individuals had no thoughts for the rafts of chilling out birds and chose to drive their boats and jet ski's through them at speed.

My day started as usual with a visit to the now five week old Gannet Chick on Bartlett Nab.

I'm hungry mum!

Feed me mum!

Feed me mum!

And the Kittiwake chicks continue to thrive

A Linnet dropped in on Grandstand

Casting Spells? "Covens of Puffins and Razorbills!

And, of course, the Puffins entertained!

I've got to look my best for my audience!

And Stretch!

And stretch again!

Does my bum look big in this?

This is my garden!

Our humble abode!

Proud owners of a chalk tunnel!
