Turtle Dove

This evening while walking Symphony in Bempton village, while she was engaging in a "sniffathon", I noticed a bird fly into the lower branches of a tree, looking different enough to gain my interest! Luckily, I had my bins and so glad I did as a two year tick Turtle Dove was sitting before me! Panic! I had my camera in my shoulder bag but not set up and a dog in hand, but I eventually managed to get into gear and fired off some shots, not even checking the settings! Really pleased with the outcome and a first for my Yorkshire list. Unfortunately the bird flew into a field overgrown with vegetation and lost to view.
