RSPB Bempton Cliffs

Immature & Mature Gannets

It was a very pleasant, mild day with sunny intervals on the cliffs today, allowing (for only the second time this year!), the wearing of a short sleeved shirt! The reserve was very busy and it was good to meet so many interested visitors. For some reason, however, the ever popular Puffins decided to play a challenge game similar to hide and seek and they were very good at it! No Puffin images today as my time was spent trying to get visitors onto the few birds that briefly landed on the ledges! Most birds are now on egg or chick giving excellent views to our visitors, don't you just love the cute factor?
