Thornwick Pool, Flamborough Headland

Swallow

This morning, our dog, Symphony (Ginger Beast) was booked in for grooming in Flamborough, giving Heather and I the chance to spend a couple of hours at Thornwick Pool. This enabled us to touch base with two year ticks - White Wagtail and Common Sandpiper. I took the opportunity to have a go at Swallows and Sand Martins in flight. This was a challenge for someone who has problems with birds the size of Gannets in flight!

Symphony (Ginger Beast) post grooming!
