Thornwick, Flamborough Headland

This morning, having dropped Heather for her voluntary day at RSPB Bempton Cliffs and sorted the dog, I headed over to Thornwick Pools and Bay on the Flamborough Headland. I should really have been undertaking the many chores required at home! Three year ticks this morning - Reed Warbler, Stonechat and Ringed Plover. Delightful to see but at the limit of my 400mm 5.6 prime lens!

Ringed Plover

"Rose" between the "Thorns"?

Coot in a rush!

Moorhen in a rush!

Juvenile Stonechat

Sedge Warbler

Sand Martin

Good Morning!
