RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Bartlett Nab

A gift of love

Turning up at RSPB Bempton Cliffs this morning for my viewpoint volunteering had the promise of a spring solstice pleasant day. Well, the first hour was great but very quickly the clouds gathered, the wind increased and wintry showers cut into the exposed flesh! What a day to decide not to wear my thermals! Us ex-pat midlanders are made of tough stuff and seven hours of pleasure soon passed! The cliffs held increasing numbers of Gannets, but Kittiwakes, Guillemots were reduced, no Razorbills other than a few on the water and no Puffins at all.

A BIG Breakfast!

I bring you this gift of love!

A gift for my dearest! Oops! She'll be gutted!
