YWT Filey Dams

Reed Bunting

I spent a couple of hours at Filey Dams this afternoon, the first time I've visited in winter! The woodland looked naked without foliage, but the charm was not entirely lost. It was a pleasure to sit in the two hides while obtaining a few year ticks, but nothing mega! The commoner species as far as I am concerned, are most enjoyable and some went out of their way to appear photogenic! The only downside was losing my notebook and pen!
