Draycote Water - 3rd September 2014

The "mean" machine!

The forecast suggested that today would be sunny and bright, so I decided to take the bike for a couple of circuits of Draycote Water. Arriving at 0615hrs, it was dull and only improving to gloomy!



Of note, from my two circuits were :

Juv Shag (2 poss 3 due to mobility)
Common Tern (4)
Little Egret (5)
Grey Wagtail (3)
Yellow Wagtail (c20+)
Buzzard (2)
Chiffchaff (3) (inc one singing)
Raven (1)

Is the Shaw lost? Or do they occur quite regularly at Draycote

Shaw should be Shag autocorrect

I wouldn't say they appear regularly, but a number, usually juveniles are recorded on an annual basis.
