Another early start this morning to arrive at RSPB Frampton Marsh Reserve at around 0700hrs. The weather was cold but bright with a keen easterly breeze. Some good birds were observed, but as is usual most were distant and the opportunity for images was challenging. It was good to meet up with an ex-colleague, now living and working in the area, Joel Warwick.
We were lucky to see eight Whooper Swans before they flew off towards the wash. Year ticks also included Black Tailed Godwits, Ruffs, four White Fronted Geese, Pink Footed Geese and two Little Owls. A full list of sightings can be found at the end of this post.
