Common Garden Birds

Unfortunately for me, I have picked up a gastric bug which has curtailed my birding for the time being. It is difficult todo very much with time spent between bed, computer and "other" places! Today, with some sunshine, I spent about an hour attempting to photograph some of the commoner birds frequenting my garden. The feeding and collecting frenzies, give light to nearby hatched young.

Coal Tit

Wood Pigeon

Starling

Dunnock

Blackbird

House Sparrow

Lovely photos of your garden birds Kevin. Good to see you have House Sparrows, they are much less common than they used to be in my garden and in general of course.

Hope you feel much better soon!

Hi Jan - thanks for your comments. Garden birds are all I can manage at the moment. Re the House Sparrows, our garden was devoid until 4years ago, but now we are well pleased to get around 20-30!
