Draycote Water this Afternoon

Well the foggy conditions had got me right pi***d off, so I decided to make a brief visit to Draycote Water this afternoon. I walked to Toft Shallows and back and the visibility was poor to worsening! Nothing too special of note but Toft Shallows had an Oystercatcher and Little ringed Plover (my first of the year) which flew towards Farborough, but not relocated. A single Raven flew honking over Toft and Farborough Bank held c thirty Meadow Pipits with two Reed Buntings. A flock of ten Fieldfares and fifteen Redwings flew over the Country Park.

Weather aside, it was a much needed walk in the fresh air!

I've got the weather and you seem to have the wildlife. We can't win.

LOL! Very depressing though, constant fog!
